Hibernation Mode

Thinking about deactivating your account due to a long summer break? Hibernation Mode is a better option for schools that have a long summer break or need a temporary hold placed on their account.

How does Hibernation Mode work?

  • Admin must send a request to turn on Hibernation to support@quickschools.com
  • QuickSchools keeps up with account maintenance, security, feature enhancements etc.
  • During hibernation nobody will be able to log in (not even administrators!). If someone attempts to access your site they will see the following message:

Permanently Delete Student Record

Quickschools now supports permanent deletion of student records. For cases where you need to permanently remove a student record from the system, this is how you’d do it.

IMPORTANT! The permanent deletion of student records has been provided in part to comply with recent legislation in the EU called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Records that have been permanently deleted will not be recoverable. Please exercise EXTREME CAUTION when permanently deleting records. Deleting a student record will also delete ALL ASSOCIATED DATA, like parent info, grades, attendance, and so on.

Online Forms – Copy & Archive

When moving from year to year, instead of creating new form packets, you can simply archive and copy over the existing form packets. This is a great time saver. And, for parents filling in the forms again for the following year, they have the option of copying over the data from the previously submitted form packet.
