We’ve just released a new improvement to enforce two-factor authentication (2FA) for the Super User App. So when using the Super User app to log into QuickSchools as a different user, you will be prompted for a verification code:
The verification code will be sent to email or Google Authenticator, per your 2FA Settings:
This QuickSchools release focuses on security features and our new UI for Orchestra Master Scheduler, along with miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes.

Active Sessions
User can now view all active sessions, and log out from those devices remotely:

Login History (for School Admin)
School Administrators can now view the Login History for teachers, students and parents. Just look for the “Login History” button/link on the corresponding record:
We’ve just released an update to our two-factor authentication (2FA) framework, standardizing the 2FA expiry to 10 days for ALL users, including School Administrators. The 2FA expiration is device-specific, meaning once you log in on a device, you won’t need to enter a new 2FA code for the next 10 days—unless you clear your cache or switch to a different device.

To help you navigate this update, we’ve answered key questions about the upcoming 2FA rollout:
At QuickSchools, the safety and security of your school’s data is our top priority. In light of growing concerns about cybersecurity, we want to reassure you that we’ve implemented robust measures to keep your information safe and secure.
Here’s What We’re Doing Right Now:
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): You can enable 2FA for your school by going to Settings > Turn Features On/Off > Edit Overall Settings, and selecting the Security section (as seen below). For more details on 2FA, visit our July 2022 release blog.
• Login Activity Monitoring: Users can view their login history, including IP addresses, browser, and device details, to stay vigilant.
• Email Notifications: We notify you immediately when:
A School Admin is added or removed.
Your password is changed or reset.
Planned Data Security Enhancements Coming Soon:
• Mandatory 2FA for Admins: Within the next 3-8 weeks, 2FA will become mandatory for all School Admin accounts. This ensures unauthorized access is even harder to achieve.
• Function-Level Security with 2FA: Sensitive actions, such as purchasing Text Messaging Credits with a saved credit card, will require additional 2FA verification.
• Dynamic Security Controls: We’re exploring ways to lock sensitive functions based on suspicious activity.

We are happy to announce that we’ve just released an update to our 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). QuickSchools now supports 2FA via Google Authenticator. The School Admin will first need to enable 2FA via “Settings” > “Turn Features On / Off” > “Edit Overall Settings” (under the “Security” section:
Once enabled, each user will have the option use Google Authenticator (instead of regular Email) for authentication:
