        When parents make payment online, we can enable a new \u201cNotes for School\u201d text field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

        Default Section Attendance for Teachers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        When taking Section Attendance, teacher can be given the ability to change the default status, by clicking on the \u201cChange Default\u201d link on the Section Attendance page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Allow Teachers to change the default Attendance Setting when taking attendance<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        When you click on it, you can select from the available Attendance options, and the system will use that setting to take all future attendance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Teachers can set the default status when taking Section Attendance<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        If you\u2019ve already taken attendance for a particular section, you can use the option to \u201cUpdate student attendance for the current roster<\/em>\u201d, which will update the attendance for the current roster:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The current attendance can also be updated automatically<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        This setting is saved on a per teacher basis. So if 2 teachers are sharing the same section, then the system will apply the settings for the teacher who takes attendance first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This is a beta feature that currently only applies to Section Attendance. Please contact our support team if you\u2019d like this enabled for you, or if you\u2019d like this feature available for other types of attendance (i.e. Homeroom-based, Period-based or Subject-based).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
