{"id":578,"date":"2010-08-17T22:52:52","date_gmt":"2010-08-17T14:52:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/?p=578"},"modified":"2026-09-09T00:42:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T07:42:26","slug":"new-student-portal-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/new-student-portal-released\/","title":{"rendered":"New Student Portal Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"bsf_rt_marker\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">For those of you who asked us for a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/student-portal-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Portal<\/a> (usually in place of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2dXDdmFWIWM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parent Portal<\/a>), wait no more. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quickschools.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QuickSchools<\/a> has just released a first version of this new module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">As with the Parent Portal, the Student Portal is available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quickschools.com.\/quickschools\/pricing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apollo Plan and above<\/a>. Once the feature is configured, privileged users will see a new menu called \u201cStudent Portal\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">When you click on the \u201cStudent Portal\u201d menu, the top section of the screen will show the email invitation you can send to your students. The bottom section shows a list of students. Just add email addresses as necessary, and invite away. The system will email the students a username and password, which they can then use to view their records and grades. Unlike the Parent Portal, students can only see their own records.
