Especially in these difficult times, if enrollment goes down, your subscription cost will also go down. All you have to do is make sure that you deactivate your students when they leave \/ graduate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Deactivating Student Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To deactivate a student record, all you have to do is open the student record from the Students listing, and select either \u201c<em>Student has left the school<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Student has been expelled<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>Student has graduated<\/em>\u201d from the \u201c<em>Actions<\/em>\u201d dropdown on the top right corner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/Ilrl8ja29Y_BeIC5QadhGjkS4_3A8Jbru_0ke16py_L26SW6gKFLo58WaGkezrM0KY57KaZHGx-slX9iUA5UUpdBPvF6f-cXwoP62ClxkruFcBq1A-bkkRCmmlHSXnPhV4emdumq\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once a student is inactive, the student record no longer appears on the main Students listing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accessing Inactive Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To view inactive student records, use the triangle on the search box to activate the Advanced Search options, and select one of the available options to include inactive students (like \u201c <em>Show deleted students<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>Show students who have left<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>Show expelled students<\/em>\u201d):\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/bjzibh8sv6Pe_pTqVFYv2VD0Y4FnDzBWPw5xscejEAndRnsW0JR4eRXfrhR5Wlo35x6Z9qo8f2W3KUkrITxqDXYpLqwm1BgfqJ7DzHSOQJCPjK9sSolRLWtqgScV2MSpk2PnbRJm\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inactive students will appear on the Students listing with the Unenrolled Date specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Re-activate Student Records<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reactivate a student record, simply click on the record, and select the \u201c<em>Reenroll this student<\/em>\u201d option from the \u201c<em>Actions<\/em>\u201d dropdown menu on the top right:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/ml8qK6o0oYsRaFdu64gqzFoXAFK7IJnrp8DTDrvqPr09gnpOPjVKZQ497X6DNDP6hFvyDISBmwncfNMDo9oraKlPnos1F_aVvK0-VhOThTyEDr0cG8R1xOHkF7qiLsWzlq_cLnax\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does billing work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To keep things simple, we don\u2019t do any sort of pro-rating. Instead, on the anniversary of your subscription, we will count the number of active students in your Students listing, and charge you based on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that apps are charged separately. They have their own monthly pricing, as well as their own billing cycle.
