Among the many enhancements made to the gradebook feature<\/a>, we\u2019ve now switched on the ability for parents<\/a> to take a look at their children\u2019s gradebooks too. It\u2019s a live, real-time indicator of progress across all the classes that a student takes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s first take a look at what a teacher would enter into his Intermediary Math 6<\/em> class’ gradebook.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you\u2019ll see, there are now 4 assignments and 1 quiz that has been graded for every student in the Intermediary Math 6<\/em> class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Now let\u2019s take a look at what Neil\u2019s parents can see when they view his gradebook.<\/p>\n\n\n

The first thing they\u2019ll notice is how he\u2019s doing in ALL his subjects from Intermediary Math to Geography and his 3 other subjects. We know this is valuable information as a parent gets an immediate snapshot of the child\u2019s progress. Also, they can get a relative idea of which subjects the student is not doing so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also the ability to drill down into the results achieved for a particular subject. Let\u2019s take a look at Neil\u2019s Geography results and see why he\u2019s got a 55% for that class.<\/p>\n\n\n
