This is usually a good time to reflect on what we\u2019ve accomplished in the past year, and serves to remind us of what we\u2019re here to do. And for us at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quickschools.com\">QuickSchools<\/a>, we want to provide an awesome Student Information System that\u2019s a joy to use.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So here are some highlights from 2019:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Continuing Priorities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following items continued to be a priority for us from 2018:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Chat Support<\/li><li>On-Boarding for New Principals<\/li><li>Engineering Transparency<\/li><li>General Product Improvements<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Support and service continue to be the central theme to our offering from year to year. It\u2019s really the backbone to what we do. In addition to helping users understand the vast feature set that we offer, it\u2019s also an opportunity for us to understand the difficulties that users face, and incorporate that understanding into future iterations of our product. Please chat it in with us, if you have any questions or comments about what we do and\/or how we do things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/12\/28\/2018-year-in-review\/\">2018 Year in Review<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Apps for iOS \/ Android<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to popular demand, we\u2019ve started building apps on iOS and Android for both teachers and parents. These are still in beta. Please check out our newsletter for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Back into Conferences<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve started <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/11\/25\/conference-review\/\">going to conferences<\/a> and conventions again after a long hiatus. Check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/category\/events\/conferences-events\/\">recent list of venues<\/a>, and let us know if there is a conference you\u2019d like us to attend. Seeing new and potential customers face-to-face really gives us <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/11\/11\/the-a-ha-eureka-moment\/\">deeper insights<\/a> into how schools run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LMS Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve actually introduced new integrations for both <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/06\/27\/odysseyware-integration-app\/\">OdysseyWare<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/10\/28\/google-classroom-integration\/\">Google Classroom<\/a>, adding to our existing <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/01\/14\/learning-management-lms-vs-sis\/\">Learning Management Systems (LMS)<\/a> integration which already includes <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/10\/04\/quickschools-integration-to-schoology\/\">Schoology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/03\/02\/updated-canvas-integration\/\">Canvas<\/a> and Haiku Learning. With this new capability, you can pull grades from OdysseyWare and Google Classroom into the QuickSchools <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/08\/10\/quickschools-gradebook\/\">Gradebook<\/a> in order to produce Report Cards and Transcripts in QuickSchools. How awesome is that!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FYI, if you\u2019re using Ignitia as your LMS \/ Curriculum Management, we can easily integrate to Ignitia since it uses the same API as OdysseyWare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Master Scheduler<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/04\/12\/master-scheduler-private-beta\/\">Master Scheduler<\/a> was introduced as a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2015\/05\/01\/hidden-features-and-private-beta\/\">Beta<\/a> App in 2018. But it\u2019s gotten a lot of traction this past year, with some schools even adopting our Master Scheduler while still using their existing Student Information System (SIS). We\u2019ve made multiple improvements to this module to cater to the nuances of schools based on their specific processes and use flows. We\u2019re looking forward to further expanding this functionality with the help of feedback from schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other App Store Additions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some other noteworthy additions to the QuickSchools <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2018\/09\/12\/quickschools-app-store\/\">App Store<\/a> include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/08\/25\/advanced-discipline-app\/\">Advanced Discipline<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/07\/02\/student-pathways\/\">Student Pathways<\/a> (for the Master Scheduler)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/10\/02\/interventions-app\/\">Interventions<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2019\/10\/31\/subject-based-lesson-plans-app\/\">Subject-Based Lesson Plans<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incidentally, we\u2019ve seen many schools adopt our <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2014\/03\/06\/develop-quickschools-apps\/\">App Developer Console<\/a> to build their own custom \/ proprietary app on the QuickSchools platform. If you have an app you\u2019d like us to showcase, please reach out to us.
