One of the awesome features in QuickSchools<\/a> is the Student Portal<\/a>. If you\u2019ve seen the Parent Portal<\/a>, it works very similarly. Either way – whether you\u2019re a newbie student portal user or an old-hat, here\u2019s a quick summary of some of the things you can do from within your student portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Login to your account<\/strong>–<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Check your email from your school to get your username and temporary password<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the link or go to the URL given (it\u2019s usually in the form yourschool.quickschools.com<\/i>)\"login\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter your username and password (you can change it by going to to Settings in the top right of your screen)\"student<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    Check Report Cards<\/strong> – <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If your school posts Report Cards online, you can see them from your \u201cReports\u201d Tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Click \u201cView Complete Record\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Scroll Down and Click \u201cReports\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the report card you want to see.\"report<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n\n\n\n

      Check Current Grades<\/strong> – <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If your school posts grades online, you can see them from the \u201cGradebook\u201d Tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click on \u201cView Complete Record\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Scroll Down and Click \u201cGradebook\u201d\"gradebook\"<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. View your Overall Average or Click \u201cDetails\u201d to See Grades by Assignment. Click \u201cPreview\u201d or \u201cDownload\u201d to get a PDF version.\"gradebook_view\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n\n\n\n

        Check Homework<\/strong> – <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        If your teachers post homework online, you can see it from the \u201cHomework\u201d Tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click on \u201cView Complete Record\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Scroll Down and Click \u201cHomework\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. View your Homework or Clicking \u201cPreview\u201d or \u201cDownload\u201d to get it as a PDF.\"homework\"<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Other Features:-<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Verify Student Info<\/strong> – As a student, you can check that your information is entered correctly, so that you know if you need to contact your school to get it update. Click \u201cVew Complete Record\u201d to review your information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n\n\n\n

          Use Apps<\/a>\/Other Modules<\/strong> – There are tons of different options for modules and apps for schools to add. If your school uses some of these other features, you may find them listed in your menu bar. Click on the link there to open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n\n\n\n

          Private Message Teachers<\/strong> – Some schools allow students to send secure private messages to teachers from the student portal. If your portal has a talk bubble next to your profile info in the top right of your screen, click that to get started. Check here<\/a> for more info on sending private messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n\n\n\n

          Pay Bills<\/strong> – Some schools allow students to pay bills (this is especially true of higher education institutes, and adult education and career schools. Please check with your school if you think this might be you). If you\u2019d like to view or pay a bill online as a student, here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Click on the \u201cView and Pay Fees\u201d link<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. View Charges as shown<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Click on the red button to the right (not shown) called \u201cPay Fees\u201d to enter your information<\/li>\n\n\n\n

            Get Help with QuickSchools<\/strong> – <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            You can do this from any page! Just click on our \u201cGot a Question\u201d widget in the bottom right hand of any quickschools.com page.<\/p>\n\n\n
