And so we\u2019ve built in a new to do just that. So for those who have been using the Fee Tracking module for a while, it can be difficult to transition to this new method. Please feel free to check that out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Printable Invoice and Reciepts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you\u2019re looking through the screens, you\u2019ll notice another thing different from before. But you can still print out Statements for any period you decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coming Soon: QuickBooks App<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ability to allocate payments to fees and charges are a precursor to the upcoming QuickBooks App. So if you\u2019re looking to streamline the way you transfer data from your QuickSchools Fee Tracking module to your QuickBooks account (to avoid double entry), be sure to enable the Payment Allocation feature (You do not have to use Fee Deadlines to use the QuickBooks app). We\u2019ll let you know about the QuickBooks App as soon as it reaches our <a title=\"QuickSchools App Store\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/category\/app-store\/\">App Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coming Soon: Alerts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll soon be introducing an Alerts framework that will allow users to be notified of specific events, like when an unpaid charge (or invoice) has passed its payment deadline. Notifications can be sent via email or text, and can be received by an administrator, or by a parent\/student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll be interested to know your thoughts on what you think should constitute an alert notification, keeping in mind that too many notifications could be detrimental to the overall experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are events \/ conditions that we think may be helpful to schools and users:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When fees are charged to an account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When payment is received \/ recorded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When unpaid charges are passed the payment deadline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other modules that can benefit from alerts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When a student is absent or tardy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When a homework is posted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When report cards are locked \/ published<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do let us know your thoughts on these.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School is OUT!
