It\u2019s true that we at QuickSchools<\/a> are very proud of our versatile and easy-to-use online gradebook<\/a>. But for schools that evaluate students not based on marks or test scores, you can very easily bypass the gradebook, and include standards-based evaluations and assessments directly into the report cards. Let\u2019s see an example.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s an example report card that includes several standards and commentary for subjects being taught to the student:<\/p>\n

This was created using our readily-available \u201cFamily Verbose\u201d report card template. The standards-based evaluations can actually be dropdowns, and they can be customized for each subject via the \u201cReport Cards\u201d > \u201cSubject Specific Criteria\u201d menu (if enabled):<\/p>\n

To select this template for your school, simply go to \u201cReport Cards\u201d > \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d menu, and click on the \u201cSelect Template\u201d link:<\/p>\n

From there, you can choose from a variety of template. Select the one appropriate for your school and marking period (you can use different templates for different marking periods, as well as for different grades):<\/p>\n

Finally, if you\u2019re interested in setting up standards for specific subjects, you\u2019ll need to turn on the \u201cSubject-Based Criteria\u201d available at the bottom of the screen:<\/p>\n
