You can now configure weighted Grade Point Averages (GPA) in select QuickSchools<\/a> report card templates. If you go to the \u201cReport Cards\u201d > \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d menu, and select the appropriate report card template, the following configuration options will be available to you:<\/p>\n

Simply select how you want to weigh Honors and Advanced Placement subjects, and the corresponding section will appear in your report card. Here\u2019s an example of what the report card will looking using our \u201cContemporary Quarters\u201d template:<\/p>\n

Notice that the Weighted GPA calculation is different from the typical GPA. You can also re-label the text that appears here to suit your needs, by clicking on the \u201cCustomize Template\u201d link available on the \u201cReport Cards\u201d > \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d menu.<\/p>\n

Finally, I should mention that the weights are applied based on the subject name, as described in the configuration options. Just make sure that the subject name contains one of the listed keywords, like \u201cHonors\u201d or \u201c(HON)\u201d or \u201c(AP)\u201d. Keywords are case-sensitive.<\/p>\n
