This extra layer of protection helps prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With cyber threats on the rise, protecting sensitive school data is more critical than ever. 2FA safeguards student records, report cards, and financial information, ensuring only authorized users can access and modify them. It also helps maintain accurate financial charges by preventing unauthorized transactions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By enabling 2FA, you&#8217;re taking a proactive step in securing your account and strengthening data protection for your school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"when2fa\"><strong><em>When will 2FA be implemented<\/em><\/strong>?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Starting <strong>February 24th<\/strong>, 2FA will be <strong>mandatory for all QuickSchools accounts<\/strong><\/em>. However, non-admin users \u2013 teachers, students, and parents \u2013 will still have the option to disable 2FA for their accounts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how2fa\"><strong><em>How do you manage your 2FA settings?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a school administrator, you can enable 2FA for your school account before the official rollout on February 24th. To get started, follow the steps outlined in our <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3EjtKoy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blog post to enable 2FA<\/a> for your school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You also have the option to use <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/accounts\/answer\/1066447\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Authenticator<\/a> instead of your email address for authentication.
