I thought I\u2019d summarize some of the key features of the Fee Tracking module here, and reference the videos that we have available on youtube:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a summary of the Fee Tracking capabilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can keep track of Fees and Payments for each student, and the system will keep track of outstanding balances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can create Standard Charges that can be applied in bulk to all students, or to a sub-set of students (based on grade level and other criteria).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Fee Tracking transactions are dated based on date of entry. The date of the transaction cannot be changed. You can however indicate the date in the transaction description.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The fee tracking module does not generate invoices or receipts.&nbsp;Instead, the Fee Tracking module can generate statements for each student, detailing an opening balance, transactions since the last statement, and an ending balance (like a credit card statement).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transactions in the fee tracking module can be categorized for <a title=\"QuickSchools Reporting\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2010\/09\/01\/quickschools-reporting\/\">reporting purposes<\/a>. So you could track \u201cTuition Fees\u201d separately from \u201cAdministrative Fees\u201d for example, if categorized accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All transactions and summary information can be <a title=\"Export QuickSchools Reports to Excel\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.quickschools.com\/2011\/12\/08\/quickschools-data-back-ups\/\">exported to Excel<\/a> for offline manipulation, or for import into an external program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statements that are generated are in PDF format, and can be printed or emailed to parents as attachments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019d like the PDF statement to be formatted a certain way (to include payment instructions, for example), let us know, and we can customize that for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a list of videos that we have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For a simple overview, the following video is about 6 minutes long: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZnORgCucxm4\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZnORgCucxm4<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For details on how to use the Student Billing sub-menu, check out this 2-minute video: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AmVy6DQvo4M\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AmVy6DQvo4M<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Here\u2019s another 2-minute video about the Standard Charges sub-menu: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MBz1Fkr5A_U\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MBz1Fkr5A_U<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, if you\u2019re looking to categorize your fees and payments for reporting purposes, check out this video as well: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I5fMF3PHh8k\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I5fMF3PHh8k<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As always, contact us if you have further questions about the Fee Tracking module.
