Most Report Cards simply display marks and\/or letter grades for each subject being evaluated. But some schools want to show evaluations based on additional criteria.<\/p>\n

In the example above, we\u2019ve created a report card for Alvin DeSilva using the \u201cThree Four Galore\u201d Report Card template. Alvin is taking English and Math. And under English, you\u2019ll notice that he also received evaluations for Reading, Writing and Speaking. You can configure your own criteria for specific subjects, as this article describes.<\/p>\n

The first step is to select a Report Card template that has a section for \u201cSubject-Specific Criteria\u201d. If you go to the \u201cReport Cards\u201d > \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d menu, you can click on \u201cChange Template\u201d to select a different report card template. The selected template will appear on the left, with configuration elements on the right. Look for the \u201cSubject-Specific Criteria\u201d section on the report card.<\/p>\n

The next step is to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d screen, and make sure the Subject-Specific Criteria module is turned on. Just click on the \u201cTurn it on\u201d link.<\/p>\n

Once the module is turned on, you will see a new \u201cSetup Subject-Specific Criteria\u201d sub-menu appear next to \u201cSetup Report Cards\u201d. Clicking on it will show the screen below. You\u2019ll notice that this module has 2 sections. The top section shows all the subject templates, while the bottom section shows all subjects, and the subject templates assigned to those subjects.<\/p>\n

To create a new template, just click on \u201cAdd Subject Template\u201d. On the pop-up, you can create additional text fields or dropdowns. Here\u2019s what it might look like:<\/p>\n

Once you have created a few subject templates, you can then use the table below to assign these templates to specific subjects. Just click on the third column next to the subject name. A dropdown will appear. Then select a subject template from the dropdown, or click on \u201c\u2014CLEAR TEMPLATE \u2013\u201c to clear the template.<\/p>\n
